The Valentine's Day tubes were the 3rd thing released in Ponyville. Other toys were right on the heels of this set, but, it was the next sign that Ponyville was going to happen, and it was coming in a big way. Also, this is one of the very last Target exclusives for the entire My Little Pony line, so far.

The sets each included Three ponies and Three accessories for each pony all themed around Valentine's Day. The ponies featured are miniature versions of previosuly released ponies.

Even though the tubes didn't originally sell for a whole lot, they have reached a desireable status on the collectible market of double their original price.
